About Us

Pure ArtLab is an institution dedicated to advancing contemporary art outreach and nurturing artists. Through exhibitions, academic exchanges, and international collaborations, Pure ArtLab provides a platform for artists of different stages and backgrounds to expand and develop their artistic pursuit further. Over the years, Pure ArtLab has also evolved into a platform that introduces artists to wider international creative circuits, contributing ro a broader cultural ecosystem that includes museums, galleries, artists, and collectors.

Pure Yichun Chen is the founder of Pure ArtLab. Pure is an avid art collector and founding patron of the SAM ART SG Fund. The SAM ART SG Fund was created to acquire artworks by leading and emerging artists at the International Art Fair to become part of Singapore Art Museum’s (SAM’s) Permanent Collection.

Pure Yichun Chen is a recipient of the Friend of the Arts Award in 2025 from the Singapore National Arts Council (NAC) for her contribution.
